QQDSP Racing

Whether you're new to sailing or are a well-seasoned racer, we have racing opportunities for you. Learning to race is a great way to hone your sailing skills and to develop a firm understanding of how your boat works in different weather conditions. Racing is also a great opportunity to meet new people and enjoy some friendly competition.

QQDSP Gold and Silver Fleet Racing Series

QQDSP offers Gold and Silver Fleet racing on Thursday nights at 5:30 PM. This provides an ideal opportunity for sailors to learn and develop racing skills that can be applied in regattas.  Silver Fleet racing is ideal for novice and developmental racers. Gold Fleet racing is intended for experienced or seasoned racers.

Members should call the office in advance to determine their level and to register for race nights.

DSAO Regattas

Racers are strongly encouraged to participate in local regattas. These friendly races will introduce sailors to the social side of racing. If you enjoy these, you may want to try going to one of the away regattas - talk to the staff about which regatta would be most appropriate.

MOBILITY CUP is an excellent venue for new racers. Racers from all over North America and beyond come together in one of the most supportive and friendly (yet competitive) environments you will ever experience. Come out and meet your sailing family!

See the Racing section or contact the DSAO office for more information.
